Maycroft Construction HQ

After years of building and refurbishing office spaces for clients, Maycroft finally had the chance to design a workspace that truly embodies their expertise and innovation.

MPI Post-entry quarantine facility
In February 2024 the Ministry of Primary Industries completed the construction of a new post-entry quarantine facility in Auckland. This new facility doubled their capacity to hold, inspect and test plant germplasm coming into New Zealand.
Latitude Lighting worked alongside NDY, MPI & Leighs Construction to deliver a custom designed, purpose-built, PC2 compliant laboratory Lighting and services containment trunking system. The Modulab Trunking system allows the easy incorporation of electrical, date, security, fire and lighting services all contained within an IP rated, easily cleaned, PC2 sealed profile system.
Royal New Zealand Ballet
After years in a temporary facility it was time for The Royal New Zealand Ballet to return to their right full home in St James Theatre, Wellington. Moller Architects were engaged to create a vibrant and enticing space for dancers and administration staff a like. With 3 purpose built dance studios, production facilities, Green room , medical rooms and change rooms they are well equipped to continue their amazing journey.

Porirua New World
When the new operator of Porirua New World took over he knew something needed to change. The existing lighting was making everything look dull and washed out, particularly the Produce and Bakery.
Latitude Lighting worked closely with the store and presented options with low glare and High CRI to improve the look and feel of the fresh produce areas. With the expert installation skills of Peak Electrical and the considered seismic approach by Spencer Holmes, the fresh produce and Bakery have never looked so good.
Politix Albany
Politix opened their latest New Zealand store in Westfield Albany in August 2023.
Whilst the store features great clothing it also features the awesome work by Ambience Lighting. The combination of the andro. to highlight the products and the Symphony range for display and mood lighting combine perfectly to showcase this stylish brand.

When Architecture HDT decided to upgrade the lighting in their iconic 1910’s Woolstore office they were committed to ensuring that not only was the lighting improved but the incredible industrial architecture would be highlighted. Latitude Lighting worked closely with HDT to to provide a solution that showcases the brilliant space and provide easy hassle free Casambi controlled Tunable White (circadian rhythm) lighting utilizing the andro XS Trackmount and the O/M O975
Marsden Books
When Marsden Books was undergoing structural strengthening the time was right for a makeover.
Latitude Lighting worked closely with GT Electrical and the building owner to design a flexible, soft, inviting space that allowed Marsden Books to showcase the stunning collection of products whilst being a comfortable place for customers to browse and linger.
